In celebration of Women’s History Month, the CallRail team and our Agency Partner Program members nominated exceptional women in the agency space who are incredible partners and are leading the way for other women in the industry.
We met with Deeanna Rodela, Account Manager at Secret Sushi, and Elisza Lambert, Director of Partnerships at Above the Bar Marketing, to learn more about their unique perspectives and how they serve their clients.
Deeanna Rodela, Account Manager at Secret Sushi
Secret Sushi is a digital marketing agency specializing in marketing with a human touch. Deeanna, Account Manager at Secret Sushi, highlights the importance of human interaction amid technology-driven marketing tactics. “In the age of AI & automation, you'll get left in the dust if you're not onboard, but from that same perspective, it's important to us that marketing stays human-led. And what's cool about CallRail is that it's all about the human interaction that takes place when a lead comes through, and it’s invaluable information.”
As a woman in a male-dominated space, Deeanna emphasizes the importance of finding community and notes, “Platforms like LinkedIn is a great place to find women killing it—it’s so exciting to watch everyone lifting everyone up.”
Elisza Lambert, Director of Partnerships at Above the Bar Marketing
Above the Bar Marketing offers law firms comprehensive digital marketing, focusing on fostering community connections and building strong online presences. “We've been working with CallRail from the start, using their crucial lead tracking tool daily to identify lead sources for our clients. This allows us to create personalized strategies for each firm, bridging the gap within their community and enhancing their online presence.”
Led by founder Lindsey Marty, Above the Bar focuses on fitting roles to individuals, fostering a happy work culture. Director of Strategic Partnerships at Above the Bar, Elisza Lambert, notes, “Lindsay doesn't just hire someone to fill a position. She really wants to make sure that the role fits the person. And I think that goes a long way in saying how happy each of us is in what we do. And at the end of the day, our clients are happier because we love coming to work. We love working together, and it's overall just an amazing work culture.”
Elisza emphasizes they celebrate the achievements of incredible women attorneys, showing that juggling multiple roles is not only possible but empowering. “We pride ourselves on really getting to know all of our law firms, and in those law firms, we have some amazing women attorneys…and we get to share all of the amazing things they're doing in the courtroom. They're volunteering in the community and a lot of them while doing all of this are still mothers, wives, and have friends and family of their own. So it really just is a great example to watch them not have to limit themselves to one thing and show us that there's really no stopping when you put your mind to it.”
The transformative power of women in marketing
As we reflect on these meaningful conversations during Women's History Month, it's clear that the path forward is one of collaboration, empowerment, and unwavering support for the incredible women shaping the future of marketing. Through their work, Deeanna Rodela and Elisza Lambert demonstrate that women in marketing agencies are not just participants but are leading the charge, breaking barriers, and setting new benchmarks for success.
